On Wheeler refuge, spooked a bedded doe on my path to the tree. Hoping she comes back. Good luck out there.

First sit on my new place in Chambers Co. Sitting a small food plot tucked in between a stand of hardwoods and creek thicket. Plot looks good but I'm not hearing any acorns falling. Good luck too all.

Doe came in about 30 yards and stopped behind a tree. I waited ten minutes and she left then looped back around. Had her slightly quartering too me at 30 yards. Shot and hit too far forward I believe... gonna sit the rest of the morning and see if anything else comes through.

Just whiffed on a coyote @ 50 yds. That’s a long shot for a bow, I can’t get anything to stand still long enough to kill it at that distance. Especially bobcats & coyotes, there was 2 coyotes. I think predators have cleaned my spot out. Robinhedd

Probably the best day to be in the stands and I’m headed to Ohio for my run the deer are definitely open moving this morning my son is in his shooting house overlooking a small clot trying to get his first kill with a compound bow. Good luck everyone

I climbed down at 9:00. I couldn’t take any more of this swirling wind!! I had 2 fawns all over me for about 30 minutes this morning, but that was it

Just blew an opportunity on a coyote. Saw him slipping by at about 60, squeaked at him and he came I'm on a string. Got to full draw on him at 10 and somehow my peep turned sideways. He busted me when I let off on the bow. It's always something.

Well I sit down for 1 minute to rest my legs and 2 does come in. So close I could spit on then. Older one made me but did not run off. Just had watch them walk away. Open face climber next year for sure.

So the biggest fawn I have ever seen starts run around my stand. Stops eats then freaks out and runs. 5 minutes later a big coyote comes in. I call him over and is 25 yards in the brush, I draw on him wind changes at the same time and he bolts. Good day but getting lunch now and will sit there this afternoon.
