A dozer is difficult to learn to operate. Small dozer are most difficult for many reasons. Bigger is always better except when it comes to transporting. The 350/D3 size machines are designed to dress topsoil around houses and on slopes. They are not dirt pushing or clearing machines. I think you would be disappointed with that size dozer.
Like others have said rent before you buy. It very well may convince you that you really don’t want to own. A skilled operator can do many, many times the work in a day vs someone still learning. Part of the learning process is also breaking some expensive parts. Hire a good operator- expect to pay $20-30/hr and get them to teach you how to operate. It is much harder than it looks. Just a few little basic operating tips from a skilled operator makes all the difference in the world. Not only difficult and expensive, also dangerous
A JD 350 is tiny and not comparable to a D3 . D3C should be bout 75 HP and 17, 000 pounds or so. I was always told , nobody can teach you how to run a dozer , best way is to get out where you are away from buildings , trees and such and go to it.
JD hasn't made a 350 for several years, maybe as far back as 80's.
