As we speak I’m clearing with a large skid steer 112 hp 13,000# and a D6K 120 hp 30,000#. E are on job right now. Been running both here for weeks. With about the same hp the 13,000# machine will spin out when you engage a tree or start a hard push. The same hp, geared lower, over 2xs weight will push over the tree.
Skid steers are designed and built to be a Swiss Army knife on a construction site. Not a land clearing or dirt moving machine. I’m sure you like your skid steer but you have no idea what you’re talking about comparing it to a dozer
