Heath I appreciate the offer. I don't turkey hunt now, but I use to turkey hunt. I called up several turkeys and killed them, but it never really cranked my tractor. I called to the hens yesterday several times and had them tore up. If I can't get him one, I will definitely take you up on your offer.

Thanks guys. Dan you're right. I've got one good deer on the wall by my standards. A 125" 10 point. I've killed a bunch of 100-120 deer, but some of the smaller ones are my most memorable. Those didn't involve my son either. This one is my favorite by a long stretch and is the smallest one according to antler size, I've ever killed.

My first deer with my son sitting with me was a button buck, he was 5, when he was 6 I killed a doe, at 7 we killed a small 7 pointer, at 8 we killed a doe, and finally at nine while sitting with me he has killed a 7 pointer and a doe. All of the hunts with him have been unforgettable.

Fantastic day indeed for you... my son's first deer was a buck... spike... but you'd a thought it was a world record when he shot it!
That was his first taxidermy bill... Had it done Euro and is hanging in the livingroom... right next to the Euro we had done of this year's six point... He is now waiting on one big enough to have hair on it in the livingroom.

That's awesome. My oldest daughter killed her first buck with me this year and my 10 year old killed his as well (a spike). He teared up from just being so excited. I wouldn't trade either of those hunts for anything.
It's refreshing to see that, not only you get what it's all about, but based on the responses here a lot of others do as well.
