This is my first year in the club. It had a lot of potential, some
Of the members don't seem to know a lot about hunting, they
Put pop up blinds right on the greenfields without brushing them
In. The club has a big clear cut , but had a lot of beautiful hardwood
draws. I have been hunting the hardwoods ,and there is a ton of
fresh Rubs and scrapes. I know it's early for the rut, but that's a good
Sign to see this time of the year. The club in is actually in Lawley I just
Say Mapleville because it's close by.

Big doe and 2 fawns at 15 yards got a free pass

Wound up seeing about 20 and got nannerhead #2 with the Triax. Shot her at 15 yards and spined her. Put another arrow behind her shoulder and she quite flopping around. When I got to her she started flopping around again, so I had to cut her throat. Guess I shouldn’t have given Emmett hell the other day.
