I here you and others keep talking about the Savage Pendulum sight. I want to try one out! Where can I get one at? Are there any stores locally that have them? I looked at the Bass Pro in Prattville but didn't see one.

Try the Fish'n Hole in Clanton.
Walter Craigs in Montgomery has them too.

I set a guy up the other day, He shot 3 arrows at 20, dead on. 2 Hours later he had killed 2 does. One at 15 and one at 35. He said it was dead on.Easy to shoot, quite and dead on.

get one...you won't be sorry...i shoot a cobra pendulum sight, but it works just as good...i do have a savage on my older bow...i will never use fixed pins from a stand again

Pat's Archery in Jasper has them....best site ever made hands down.....I got to older one thats camo with the fiber glow pin on it

OK, here is my question about them. I have never shot with one, but I have been thinking of getting one. How do you sight one in and do they shoot the same form the ground?

sight it in dead on at 20 from the ground...and it will be dead on out to around 35 yards or so from the stand depending on the speed of your bow...from the ground it will shoot like any other pin sighted in at 20 yards...not enough elevation to change it's position

You guys done any testing to see how your POI changes over a wide variety of stand heights? The reason I ask is that I hunt such a wide variety of heights and terrains. I killed a doe the other evening from 12' high on level ground, but I might be 35' up a poplar this coming weekend and shoot at a deer down a hill from me in the mountains of Jackson County (say 60+ feet above the animal). Just curious as I am very intrigued by the pendelum concept?

60' might be pushing it a little...i've been up as high as 35' and as low as 15' and POI is pretty much the same each time...anything higher than that is just a guess to me
