If the state makes them illegal, I will be happy to get rid of mine and comply. I just fail to see why so many people spend their time in hatrid of the few who hunt with a crossbow? We need all the hunters who will teach and take kids out in the woods that we can get. If kids love to shoot the xbow, they may want to graduate up to the real bow later, but thats one more kid in the woods and not out on the street. Just my opinion
I am glad you and your kids are getting to spend some great time together. I also think they will grow up and start using compounds one day when they are strong enough. I do not think the crossbow is the devil. I just hope everyone will be careful and learn to shoot it safely. I am really tired of the fighting amoungst hunters. We have got to stand together or we will all lose!
