I'll say this much about a crossbow. If you do your job it definitely makes an impact when that bolt rips through a deer's chest cavity. The does I've killed have buckled as if punched with a 4-by-4, died quickly and bled like crazy. Aint that the truth. i have shot 5 deer with my crossbow and 4 of them dropped in sight and the other made it about 75 yards. Used properly a very efficient killer.
