[/b]  My great-uncle at the ripe old age of 76 has killed 8-10 deer a year for as long as I can remember and has never been in a stand or up a ladder.

i come from northeast pa and this is my first year hunting down here and i never used a stand up there so you can kill deer with out one

I hunt on the ground and use the same method get behind the tree I use one of the small Bull Dog blinds that stand up about 40" I have been busted 1 time in 5 years on the ground the deer just happened to come out 5 feet from where I was sitting and I was really looking her in the eyes.
