This one is skin-tight, so it doesn't bunch up, but it's so thin and light that it feels like not wearing one at all. And because it's stretchy, it stays tucked in.

They're expensive, as undershirts go, at about $20-25 each, but they're worth it. I have a couple of them. I wear the same one 2-3 days in a row (if I'm just sitting at a desk not sweating), then alternate for a couple of days.

I don't wear the compression except in winter with the Cold Gear, but I have a bunch of different "performance" shirts including UA, Adidas and cheapos. They're all IMO solid for undershirts under a pullover polo or button-down.

They're great for traveling because if you're not sweating then you can wear it more than once. If you do, wash it out in the bathtub, wring it and hang it. Lightweight and great for packing. When I fly, I usually toss one into my backpack (along with a toothbrush) just in case.

Same here, except I didn’t go with the fitted ones. I don’t like tight shirts. They shirts are expensive but you’ll get 2-3 years out of them verses less than a year with cotton.

Duluth - long lasting, don’t shrink, good for a couple of years of use. I wear one everyday.

Just stop wearing them.
You won't believe how much cooler it is.

That’s what I’m saying. I work with people outside and in buildings with no AC all day long, and no one wears undershirts. Thin, fat, pepperoni nipples, it doesn’t matter.

#1 Cotton is comfortable.
#2 UA and other polyester performance shirts feel very hot to me, especially under another shirt. I don't know why but I really don't like them in hot weather. Cold weather they are fine.
#3 Old school reasoning for wearing an undershirt or thin tshirt under an button up or polo shirt...I just do grin I'd rather the tshirt be sweaty that directly on the shirt, especially when I'm working and out at meetings and such. A better professional appearance.
#4 In summer, cotton shirts gets wet but that helps me feel cool as the evaporative impact cools the skin. Performance fabric feels like a sauna but you stay dry. Nothing better on a really hot day to finally get a breeze or step into the AC...that damp tshirt then is like GOLD!
#5 80/20 Cotton and other poly type fabric is fine. Feels like cotton but does wick away some of the moisture.
#6 I have some performance shirts and they are ok, I wear them, but not my favorite.

Long tailed tshirts is the point of the original post, lol. I'm not complaining about being hot. I'm almost 50 and work outside all the time in the heat and I've tried all sorts of clothing. i'm good. Just need suggestions on where to buy long tshirts.

I wear a 70$ White dress shirt most days. Without an undershirt I would stain the underarms in no time. Plus nothing better than a broken in cotton T-shirt for comfort.

People who wear undershirt under a button-down shirt and suit aren't working for a living?

Gildan is what I wear. Why do I wear a T? Because I wear a suit to work almost every day.

You obviously don't work if you wear a suit. Pffttt.

I'm thinking about buying some tan undershirts to match my armpit stains.
