Paid to have an Oak Tree cut down about a month ago; I would like to recoup some of my expenditure. Most of the "smaller" cut logs are about 2"-3" feet in length; There are also a ton of cut logs longer. These logs are not split, they were cut and dropped from the tree. I would like to sell the "smaller" logs for $2.00 each, and work out prices for the larger ones. Located in Pinson area.

In my experience you are better off to give the wood away with the condition that it is ALL removed so that you don't have to work your arse off or pay someone else to do it. Good luck all the same!
Look at it this way, you saved money up front by not having the tree man haul it off and charge you for it.

There's a house going down hwy 75 towards oneonta on the left before the gas station at the bottom of pine mountain that always has stacks of cut and uncut wood. If nothing pans out you could check that out. He might be interested in what you got.
