My skepticism of Gamecheck comes from the HIP program. When I buy a license, rarely am I asked what I killed or hunted. Most of the cashiers simply fill in numbers randomly. The HIP stamp became another reason to ticket careless migratory bird hunters. If they are doing this then it's fraud of a federal document even if it is "just" a bird count survey. If you're allowing this to happen then you should tell them to stop and that you are required to do it. If they object then you should object. I've never heard of anyone doing what you're saying, ever. Stand in line in any Wal-Mart in Arkansas the night before duck season opens and you will see it. The cashier does not understand the importance of the task. Seen it in Alabama also. I buy my licenses online now.
