Remember it well, I was sitting in a staff/production meeting at work. Large conference room, big table with about 10 or 12 guys around it. A coworker opened the door and told us a small plane had hit one of the towers in NYC. At that time, it was considered a freak accident and we briefly discussed what might have caused such a thing....pilot had a heart attack, etc., and the meeting resumed. Soon, he opened the door again and in a very different tone of voice informed the room that a second plane had flown into the other tower. We all knew what that meant, there was silence in the room as we all absorbed what was happening. The meeting was quickly concluded and adjourned. We immediately found a TV and began to watch the news.
