I can't believe folks are acting shocked about this. Seriously, follks are surprised that Nike (along with the full majority of basically all corporations on the planet) is socio-politically liberal? And listen, you gotta get out of your vacuum, we are not like 99% of the nation/world. Nike ain't a bunch of fools, this WILL play well with their demographic, this wasn't some nearsighted, ill conceived knee jerk. It's a fully vetted marketing strategy that plays well with their demographic. Nike is from the Pacific NW (West coast), their primary demo is "young", granola/hipster/visionary, minority, etc. You ever seen Nike's CEO??? Seriously. Why are people surprised?

I'm not a Nike wearer (I just like other brands better in shoes and apparel), but it wasn't because I assumed we shared a world paradigm. Nike has been MASSIVELY pushing the rainbow/homo agenda for 30 years, I constantly see "progressive" marketing from Nike.

This speaks volumes when these two guys support your cause....

unless sales increase, like they are planning with the move, then stock will be right back where it was, maybe higher.

It's easy to not buy a product that doesn't fit me well and is crap quality, so yes, i'll join the boycott. Actually I started a number of years ago.

Not sure but do not remember ever buying any of their product so not likely to hurt their sales now by still not buying.

I think it's funny how people are saying Nike is going to "lose half its value" or "go out of business" or whatever. They're going to have a dip and then keep chugging along. They don't give a chit about anyone saying "boycott" and it won't hurt them in the long run.

They are too big and established.

This country is supposed to be founded on freedom to worship, believe and live the way you want to without persecution from others but instead the whole country gets in these uproars and so many persecute people for exercising the very rights this country is founded on. If someone isn't respecting the flag or country as you see fit and they aren't harming anyone then just go on about your life respecting the flag and this country as you see fit. Boycott all ya'll want, I love Nike brand and will still buy them no matter what the heck anyone does 😁

Nike is the big dog. They dominate the sneaker resell market. Nike's resell market is larger than most tennis shoe companies total sales. It is a billion dollar industry. Colon Cancer's jersey sales skyrocketed when he took a knee, Nike is looking for the next Air Jordan.
