I have always use the normal bug spray like OFF or Rebel but I would still gets ticks on me even after spraying down. This year I have started using the Sawyer insect repellent spray and seems to help better.I havent found a tick on me or my clothes. Any of yall use it if so how has it worked for you?

Go buy permethrin concentrate and find the directions for mixing it up for clothes. Dip your clothes and let air dry. It will hold up for about 6 washings. Don’t use the dryer. This is the first year I’ve done it and I’ve nit had any ticks, chiggers, etc. I used the leftover dip in a spray bottle to refresher after a few washings

I bathe in glyphosate about once a week and the ticks don't bother me.

Permethrin.......You can save money by buying in concentrate and mixing your own, but I just buy Sawyer's brand and call it a day.

Ya'll can use spray or not, but I know three people that have lyme disease and it is some serious stuff, debilitating to them for weeks at a time. A couple of them have been prescribed IV antibiotics for days at a time. You don't just take a few antibiotics and get rid of it.

Tick is the most dangerous living creature in the south. For those who don’t prevent ticks you better start.
Permethrin is the ticket. Deet don’t stop them in the least bit.

Gamehide top/pants with whatever cooked-in juice is in the cloth, along with spraying with Permethrin. Bug Blocker, Sawyer's, Off, whatever's available. I hose down, too.

We have all done things we shouldn't do/not done things we should've done. If you want to spray down for ticks/bugs, then do it. I personally have spent a crap load of time im the woods since toddler age and have never had ticks on me. Maybe certain places in Alabama are worse than others...

I haven’t been able to go outside anywhere in the south without getting covered up with them if I don’t spray.

Blood alcohol is probably why they don't bite me. Keep your alcohol content high.
