Okay another where to go tread. Will be spending week in Pigeon Forge and area. Do not plan a trip to Dollywood since we have done that before with the kids. What other attractions, entertainment and dining should we plan on doing/seeing?

Hard rock cafe had the best steak I have ever eaten at a restuarant. My wife got something she wasnt too impressed with, I cant remember what, but their ribeye steak is great.

Thanks for the ideas, welcome them all. Oh forgot to mention that once we left Pigeon Forge would likely be looking for a good seafood place at Panama City Beach.  Just kidding, only going to TN.

Great Hamburgers and Fries and the best Banana Split you ever had !! We go there each time we are in the neighborhood just to get a Banana Split.

Father in law has a house there. Mel’s diner is ok. They do have a good grilled cheese and ham. Hard rock did have to beat hamburger I have had.

Davey Crockett’s in Gburg for breakfast.
Plus there is small children rides and games at The Island. Don’t forget about the aquarium in Gburg also.

We always go to The Best Italian. It is not the one on the main strip in Gburg. It is about a block ortwo past that one in a cul de sac off of the main strip. It is not fancy, but delicious Italian food.

Paula Dean’s is way overrated and overpriced in my opinion. I feel that way about the applebarn. Paula Dean’s has always been good when we have gone. But the Old Mill will always be our favorite.

I agree on the apple barn, and the old mill is definitely the best. Most of the places there really aren’t that good.

We had some good food at Blaines in Gatlinburg. I had a great hamburger. You can eat on the balcony and watch the traffic. It's on the corner close to the space needle.
I also thought the Titanic was pretty neat for something to do. It was interesting to see some of the actual things that were recovered from the ship.
