First time in 10 years I’ve had anything out of the ordinary. What’s going on? What do I need to do?

Pump failure. Bad seal or motor. Pcamper is right minimum flushing and waste water. Call a plumber. Not going to be cheap on a holiday weekend.

Shitters full... Seriously though, do you have a system that gravity feeds to a tank that then pumps it up to an actual septic tank and field lines?

One story house with full basement; however, only one corner of the basement is below ground. Best I know it’s gravity to the tank then pumped to the field lines.

My aerobic system would flash red right before it started watering the lawn. My guess is yours is not that type of septic system.

Take the lid off of the small tank that’s next to the big one. If it’s full pump has failed. If not the alarm float will probably be stuck.

Don't be like some of our guy and unplug the light and ignore it, then call me and say"I don't know why the man covers are floating in the parking lot"

This. Or the pump itself is clogged or not working.

Some of those pumps, the plugs are piggy backed.. If so, the front plug is just for the float and the back plug is the pump. Unplug them and plug the pump straight to power, see if that helps.

Or it could be hard wired in
