I can see now why that Waddell kid is being compared to David Palmer in ability. That kid can move. There will be many more Ko/Pr’s in his future

Overall the Tide looked good and improved as the game went on. They will only get better into the season.
Waddle looks good and is a threat anytime he's on the field.
Tua needs to learn to tuck that ball when he knows he has to run with it and if he doesn't there'll be a lot of fumbles but I'm sure if we see that his coaches see it too

Damn....... Saban went off on that black lady. Lmao LOL, yeah he did. He has to get tired of hearing this schit though same dumb questions etc...it has to get old. Specifically, that was the 3rd time in as many hours that she asked him the same dang thing. Pregame, half time and post game. If you can't think of any other questions, maybe you need a new job. But really, I think they intentionally push Saban's buttons because it makes for good tv. I thought Saban was kinda prickish about it, to be honest. Want to stop the questions? Name a starter and be done with it. Maria handled it like the professional she is. She was doing her job. Hopefully, Saban will issue her an apology, even if only privately.

Saban will offer an apology. But honestly who cares what Saban has to say? Or Gus? Or Smart? Or Pruitt? We watch for the game. The players. The play calling. If Saban talked like Mel Tillis, would that change anything? It's not unusual for me to mute the tv when watching a game anyway.

I think the biggest pleasant surprise was the young defensive backs play. I think Bama had 5 first time starters out there in
cluding some true freshmen.
Waddle is better than I was hoping, extremely sure handed and quick.

He doesn't. But, if he doesn't want to keep getting asked the same stupid question over and over...he could simply answer it...and they'd quit asking. He has answered it....several times. They just don't like his answer, so like an incessant 5yr old, they keep asking it hoping he'll change his answer, then they act shocked when he gets irritated.
