Trying to post pics from my phone, maybe it'll work! This is spot between two bedding areas, it was just a grown up road til I took the dozer and widened it a lil bit. Deer cross back and forth all day long.
So weird.

Im out here on a place in Marion Jct. Ain't seen a thing yet but there's fresh scrapes on my food plot and tons of rubs. Last year there wasn't hardly a track to be found on this property but it looks promising this year. Im hearing a few shots.

Slow on our place since this freaking heat wave moved in. Saw 5 bucks yesterday only one bumped a doe around. Slept in this morning due to fog and the rain but on stand now. Saw one small buck walking in. He's was feeding on water oaks. I hope we get some cold weather back down here soon!!!

Would that be around the old Sugar Bottom place (Minter tract), kinda close to the Gin? I have some friends that hunt that area. Across road from the Beers! Great area if so, good luck with the big bucks! Got to hunt Ms. Minter's place several times, DANG FUN place to hunt...

She does it again!!! Same stand as yesterday morning with the same results. Chasin a doe back and forth across a bulldozer cut, missed the first shot but he kept chasin her across. Second shot was good and she has her second in two days. I have no pics of this deer even tho I've ran four and five cameras on this place for four months.Better pics coming!

I have two big cull bucks locked on a hot doe. The bigger of the two has her pushed out in this big crop field and the other buck keeps circling them.

Its comin a flood here in selma now. Had 5 does in the field until a flash of lightning ran em off. The mature does all had very dark hock glands. My dad grunted in some bucks this morning. Two of em wouldn't come out of the thicket. He finally saw the rack of one of em and saw that it met his "criteria" of pope n young or better. He tried to roll the safety off on his steyr .270 and it was stuck. After jiggling it he got it rolled over. He looked through the brush and all he could see was the shoulder of the buck. That's all he needed to see. He shot. Bang flop. Then the big buck that he thought he was shootn at took off. The buck he ended up shootn turned out to be a 2.5 year old 7pt that had a 14-15" spread. Oh well. I owe him a bottle of rum now if I don't kill anything bigger. He grunted them bucks in at 10:10 this mornin. I sure enjoy coming up here to DC and spending time with Pops. Even better when deer hit the ground no matter how big they are.

GOSH DANG BOYS.....the freaking woods just exploded on me. Been sitting here hoping the rain would hold off until dark when all of a sudden I hear a deer snorting behind me. Next thing I know is a freaking doe is running wide open start to me with 5 or 6 bucks hot on her tail. I'm trying to see if there's a bug one in the bunch when the STUD buck makes his appearance. Now I'm gonna tell y'all I have never heard the likes of what these deer where doing. That all got 15 yards of me an started snort wheezing, growling, coughing I mean just freaking put on a show. I had two tie up to fighting an get it on!!! Ole stud buck got on the doe walked out 10 yards where I could get a good look and I let the Thunder Stick bark BBD down baby!! Head home pics will be up tonight. Recap seen around 8 bucks all locked on does. It's on in Dallas Cty baby
