Season starts tomorrow. I have to work Sat/Sun dang it. I'll start chasing on Monday. I'm actually gonna be changing my tactics for the first 10 days of season trying to kill a mature bull. The timber lands are opening for 2 days and we'll see Monday if they stay open. I'll post a few pics of elk I have on cam to get the thread going.

The timber Company owned lands are open to the public. Hike or bike only, no motorized vehicles. They've been closed since 01Aug due to high fire dangers. They decided to open for 2 days for the opener of archery season. We supposed to get a little rain sat/sun, I sure hope so, I need the land open to hunt those bulls. I got a short cut to back door them if they don't get blown out.

Once a big bull takes the herd of 70+ cows over, they'll be on a private place I run the hunting on and we won't need corn. Is that camera really bullet proof? Have you tested it? Haven't tried it but, I got it for $25... It's on an old road in some timber now. Hoping I can check it soon.
