HoJo, you know those OMSP deer are not indicative of the average deer in the state. That's a special case and apples to oranges, an invalid comparison.
Let's take average bucks and does from Jackson or Marion or Talladega or Hale or Escambia counties and see if they're starving. They're not. if i remember right that was one big pen with no hunting untill the deer got over populated. i know at one time they were going to bring sharp shooters in to thin them out . in the end they decided to let hunters come in on a draw system . if i remember right .
