I would say with GC everyone that kills a deer or turkey has the opportunity to report it, and now the responsibility if you believe in doing what has been instructed to you to do. With the Survey, if I killed my 3 bucks and XXXXX # number of doe, if I did not receive a survey I was not asked nor did I have any way of reporting it even if I wanted to. Well, I guess I could have called Montgomery and asked for a survey to be sent to me, so I guess I can't so no way to report it. But regardless, with GC every hunter in Alabama has the ability to report it. So just in that alone it's better than the survey. And for those saying it's too hard, blah, blah, blah. If you (that meaning in general) are reading this post you can access GC and record it. It's either they are too lazy or simply want to break the rules.
