How do we know hunters aren't using GC?
Just because the numbers are far below those from the decades old elusive survey doesn't mean that GC is underused. Perhaps it indicates the elusive survey was severely flawed.
Or maybe the percentage of hunters not using GC is lower than stated.
What evidence is being used to determine GC participation? You, yourself said you were not honest with GC. So we know it's not getting used correctly. Correct? I'm just asking for input. But I have been honest about deer kills. I will lie to you about my turkeys, however. And I understand, But how are we suppose to expect you to be honest in 1 portion when you openly admit that you lie about another? If you're going to lie--lie about it all. This is exactly why the provision about checking the animal before it gets moved is added. Do you think the GW has heard, "I was just going to recored it when I get back to camp?" Code for--- I wasn't going to tag it at all -----unless I got caught. Or, "Officer I was hog hunting over this corn." Code for I wasn't going to shoot that 8 pt, unless he walks in.
