Anyhow, I totally agree with your point. I genuinely like to discuss as believers how we approach our thinking and attitudes toward our finances and material resources. That is an awesome testimony of how the Lord allowed you to bless that child's life and provide her a safe life.

I'm going to be totally honest - it's been comforting to hear some of you that are members or attendees of COTH speak on this subject. I have heard negative things about it, and some claiming it's a prosperity gospel church, and I dug into this thread to find out for myself. I'm a member of a Southern Baptist affiliated church in our area, and COTH has drawn several folks in our area from other churches to join theirs, not by actively recruiting them of course. So as is usual, you'll hear negativity and rumor started about any church that moves in or starts attracting folks from other churches. More often than not, it's because God is at work and people want to be where God is moving. Sounds like that's the case at COTH.
