Manage an office in Tampa and cover 30 states for sale of custom manufacturing supplies and equipment. I go to the customer plant and tell them the type of tooling that is needed etc. Tell them the lead time is 8weeks and they tell me they need it in 2. I agree to 3 and the shop gets it done in 3.5. Customer is pissed, I get yelled at, shop is mad that they had to do it so quickly and the customer calms down after he gets the tool and it works. Then it all starts over again. ( Basically a Machine Shop
