Jessica Hardin left this world today, much much too soon, to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was really more of an acquaintance than a friend. Someone I used to see and talk to at the local coffee shop that we both used as an office, where we could get wi-fi. She was only 24 years old. She developed some type of leukemia about a year or so ago. It was very rare for a person this young to get this particular type. She had a bone marrow transplant at some specialty place in Texas and was doing well. She took a turn for the worse recently and her body ended up rejecting the marrow. Jessica had it rough growing up, from what she told me through our conversations. She was raised by her grandparents. It's so sad. She will never know the joy of having a husband and kids. Please pray for her family and friends. Also pray for a cure. She was beautiful both inside and out. Attached is her picture.

She was a former Crimsonette at the Univerity of Alabama. I met her a few times through a friend who was also a Crimsonette. She was a beautiful and kind person. Prayers for her family and friends.

Yep. I've seen guys fall all over themselves trying to make conversation with her. They may not have ended up with her phone number hut she treated them with respect and was extremely kind to them. She was a great person.

She is SO beautiful! I guess the good Lord wanted her around Him for eternity. Prayers to the family.
Don't confuse my user name with any sort of alphabet faggotry.
It only stands for drag racing, and Route 66 was my home track back in the day.

Horrible for such a young beautiful life to have ended so early in life
If you’re a common sense person, you probably don’t feel you have a home in this world right now. If you’re a Christian, you know you were never meant to.

It's because we live in a fallen creation. Look at Job. The Lord allowed Satan to do anything he wanted except kill him. Job lost literally everything. Family, health, wealth, etc..., but he praised God through it all. Not once did he blame or question God. Ultimately, God rewarded him for it all, both in this life and the next I'm sure. We are not here to fulfill our own dreams, wishes and desires. We are here to praise God and work for the advancement of His kingdom. The Bible says to praise God in ALL things. It doesn't say praise Him for just the good things. ALL things. When you start questioning your faith you are doing exactly what Satan intends for these things to do. As sad as it is for such a young life to be lost, Jessica and I had discussed religion and faith. I can tell you. She dined with Jesus Christ tonight and wouldn't come back to this world for anything. I so look forward to the day that Jesus calls us all home. I wish he would come back tonight except so many people would be lost. There are still so many that NEEDS Jesus. Don't let a young persons death be in vain. If it moves you emotionally then do something about it and share the story of Christ.

It is hard. To quote a line in a song by Christian singer Kevin Derryberry, "Jesus never said this life is going to be easy but he did say he would guide us if we would just trust Him with everything".

AMEN, you are right on target f150man. It's easy for us to get caught up in living for this world because...this is where we live. This is what we know. Focus on eternity and not this world. Jessica resides in paradise. We should feel sorrow for her family that will miss her but not for her. Seek God. Read his word. Thanks for your post ford150man.

yes this is the way my preacher says as well .but sometimes it is hard. It can be very hard. This life is hard, cruel and unfair. It's a broken world. Satan is there all the time planting doubt. That's why we have to depend on faith. Faith in His plan for our lives. Seek Him in His word.

Now, I still watch him sing on Sunday mornings here in B'ham!!! It's a bit later in the morning and I enjoy Kevin even more!!! Sing on Kevin!!! God Bless ya!
Prayers send out to the girl's family.
