I've seen poor & been poor, and I know that some of what we call poor are well-to-do by standards in other places. I've been hungry too, but thank God I never had to eat mudfish. I've received mercies that I didn't really deserve, and denied mercy to some who did deserve it, but I try to remember that but for the grace of God, there I would be.
To refuse to show kindness & mercy because of the letter of the law is ignorance towards humankind. this^^^^^^^^^^^^ troy Exactly right!! You may not ever be a game warden but you may be a juror one day and that's a good principle for jurors to remember. [If you don't know what jury nullification is, you should take time to learn about it. Jury Nullification ] I asked about it on Grand Jury once, the federal prosecutors didn't like it much.
