Tuscaloosa was correct. Archibalds is sooooo good.
Some people want to visit all 50 states, I would like to eat in each of these places.

Rock's BBQ in Prattville is the best in the area imo, but I have never been to Jim's on 82. Gonna have to go down there soon

They missed on Walker County saying Danny's BBQ was the best. To me the best barbecue in Walker County is off of Fish Hatchery Road in Carbon Hill called Grill Billys I think there are a few places better than Danny's.

Disagree with Mobile. Brick Pit and Meat Boss are better than saucy q. Saucy q has gone way down hill. 6 or 8 years ago it was really good.

Cooter Brown's is good. We eat there just about every week. I live just down the road from there and have never really cared for it. Folks must think it's good because they stay covered up but it just isn't high on my list. I prefer Smok'n Hot on 202 if I'm out looking for BBQ

Any place that uses white or vinegar based sauce should be arrested for pork abuse. Red sauce or no sauce should be required by law. Damn yankees White and vinegar are southern lol. White was created in Alabama of all places, vinegar created in the carolinas, and red is Kansas city style. Vinegar and white are better than red anyway. Red is to much like ketchup

All bbq tastes pretty much the same to me. Only difference I can tell is how moist it is I've noticed alot does taste really similar. Start smoking your own and you'll be impressed what you can do

A year or 2 ago, AL.com named Jim n Nick's the "Best BBQ in AL".......at that point they lost what little credibility they may have had.

Honestly... Pruitts in Rainbow City (Which is the "winner" for Etowah County) has some of the best ribs I have had in Alabama. Plus their other food is great too. It's hard to miss going to eat there.

Strike 1 if you're going to charge for drink refills from a fountain. Menu doesn't really impress. Pork belly lol. I may check it out my next trip up north. I shop in Geneva so I may try it.

Johnny’s sucks. Big Bob Gibson’s sucks. I have eaten at 10 of the places on the list and of those ten, those two I wouldn’t go back to.

For a chopped pork plate with camp stew I will pick Hook's BBQ in Troy. I eat there about every time I go to Troy.
