Still enjoying them. Would much rather watch their latest 'turkeyless' video than ANY video using a strutter decoy. In fact, as soon as I see a strutter decoy in a video, I cease watching it.

He made that look easy, other than the 4 mile walk back in there. I believe I would have wasted a TSS shell on that cottonmouth. I like that gun barrel camera he has. I wonder which model he has and the cost?

I think that was my favorite video so far. That was a pretty spot they were in. I don't even know why he totes a vest the way he can run a mouth call.

Reckon how many folks are looking for that place on the map right now? He has left some pretty good indicators and markers in the videos so far.

Another awesome day of video!

Is that cars you hear passing in the background when the bird is in the tree?

Up until a few years ago it was still legal to hunt turkeys with rifles on WMAs in Florida... I believe it was 2010 and my father and I were on a Florida quota hunt... A fellow and his young son drove up in a single cab truck with a rifle racked on their back glass. This guy couldn't believe we had driven all the way from Mississippi to hunt. He then proceeds to ask us if "ya'll do that callin' thing?" I know dad and I had to have a funny look on our faces. The guy goes on to tell us he had already killed one that morning and went home to pick up his boy (couldn't have been more than 7 or 8 years old) to try and get him one too. Then he revealed his tried and true method. "Just ride around til ya find a fresh chop (what he called thinned timber) or burn and you can bust 'em from the truck!" That was always in the back of mind until they finally banned rifles on public land down there! You wouldn't think it, but some parts of Florida are just as redneck/outlawish as anywhere else in the southeast.

We hunted public land down there the year after they banned it, had folks riding around with rifles out all 4 windows of one truck we passed. The memo didn’t get out well at all.

We were down this year at first part of Floridas season.......don't know that I've seen a more outlaw/game law ignoring bunch of people than the south Florida locals. baiting and shooting with rifles is very common from what I could tell.
