I was told Public Launches like Calvert's, Misty Harbor, Big Bridge are no longer open to the general public. Anyone heard about this ? Wonder whats going on.

Is this something recent? My FIL is buds with the guy that owns calverts in an ask him tomorrow and find out

Was thinking my boys were using misty harbor last month? Maybe $5 to launch, but was open. I think there was another they went tofirst and were told it wasnt open to public.
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

There are a lot of launches but the only free ones I know of are park, dam, and swayback. Everywhere else charges. Misty harbor is $5

I haven't put in at calverts since last year and It was 5 bucks, arrowhead is 5 I think as well

Big Bridge is closed to the public and is now, as far as I know, used by Trident Marina.

Damn that sucks. Up North you have got to pay to launch your boat everywhere pretty much

Its worth the $5 for me to put in at Speegles rather than the park.

Duncan Bridge boat launch has gone up to 10 bucks.

Calverts is privately owned. Costs 5.00 to launch. Better get there early to get a parking spot!
