Good buck. Congrats. Why was he walking around with his tongue hanging out?

He is missing part of his lower jaw. At first, I thought he was running does all the time and tired because I had saw him a few times during the rut.

Good buck. Congrats. Why was he walking around with his tongue hanging out? That's what I'm wondering.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Did you happen to weigh him? Just wondering if his injury was preventing him from eating. He sure looks thin in the trail cam pic. Congrats! CD.

I didnt weigh him, but his hindquarters were in real good shape just his shoulders looked small and atrophied. Most of his lower jaw was there just all of the skin was missing. My wife is a vet tech and I showed it to the vet and he said it looked like he was either clipped by a car, or caught it in a fence at a young age.

He is missing part of his lower jaw. That's what happens, too often, when someone attempts a head shot.
I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.
