My money is on disgruntled former employee or domestic issue that blew up.
Mine, too.
But there will be people who are gleefully happy this happened no matter what, and will wish it happened at other places. They merely prove my earlier statement, and frak all of them.
I don't think any sane American is glad that innocent people were killed regardless what is going on in the country. Other peoples across the world, probably so. And it wouldn't surprise me that gun grabbers secretly do a little fist pump because it gives them one more notch on the belt to point at but I would argue that they aren't sane American's.
