Do you think the wind has the same effect on deer that are in or near peak rut? Monday is supposed to be pretty windy but the deer in our area are really starting to chase quite a bit. I'm sure it still will slow it down, but I'm hoping maybe not quite as much as usual...
Nope it will not hurt it. If the prerut chasing is in full swing it doesn't matter if it's windy as blue blazes they will still be chasing. They just won't be as easy to hear or see with all the noise and everything in the woods moving around. So keep your eyes peeled cause you prolly won't hear them unless they are right on top of you.
