I have decided to sell my 2 ambassadeur c3 7000 reels on quantum iron 7ft heavy action rods for $150 each. I have used these rods and reels to catch sharks, large stripers, large catfish, and alligators. In a past life the rods were used to catch many many tarpon. They would also be good for snapper and grouper. They are spooled with fairly new 80lb power pro braid. There is absolutely nothing wrong with these, i am just wanting to get some new big spinning reels and rods.
I also have the penn senator 9/0 on the penn special senator rod with roller guides for $120.
I always used this rod for shark fishing and the sharks were not a big fan of it. It is spooled with approximately 600 yards of 60 lb monofilament.
I still have the 2 ambassadeur c3 5500s on 7ft ugly stik lite medium action rods.
