After reading the post on the serious forum about shooting Doe on green fields, thought I would update this post. I shot this buck at 4:30 standing on the edge of a greenfield looking at 2 Doe. If the bigger Doe wouldn't have been behind a Pine I would have shot her. I actually pulled out of the scope waiting for her to clear the tree when this guy walked in.
Funny thing is, I went to this field to shoot a Doe. He scored 142 1/4 green, weighed 205lbs. This is my biggest buck ever
and from a stinkin' greenfield, who would have thought it???
