For me its not so much curmudgeon as having no desire to be on the Walmart of cruises.
Carnival is like a giant floating Walmart.
And not the one in Vestavia Hills/Mountainbrook.
Think Ann Street Monkeytown Walmart.
Half Ghetto and most of the other half is like something out of the movie Deliverance. 😳
That's about how I've imagined a cruise.
Never had a desire to go, never will.
Hell I was in the Navy 8 years and never got on a boat!
Did most of my time with Army and Marines.
I don't even go to Walmart on land.
