So if an Aldeer member were to come across a complete fashion scofflaw wearing a backwards sideways NFL hat to Cracker Barrel with jorts, wife beater and flip flops on Sunday, how would they handle such an outlandish criminal?

I couldn't care less if someone has a hat on in a restaurant, just:
- quit yelling at a small table
- keep your whiney ass kids controlled.
- don't wear your waistband under your butt cheek

Kinda funny at the number of responses that say....I wear a hat here and here and there, but I take it off when I eat at Grandaddy's house....tells me you know what's right but only practice it when you are gonna get scolded instead of doing it all the time. I think a lot of us remove our cap when we should and especially at "Grandaddy's" house because the majority of our older generation family males are ex military and that's what they passed down to us. Can't stand flat bill, turned backwards...etc. BTW a lot of difference between a hat and a cap. Learned that quickly my first day at practice from coach Kittrell. Ex military if you get what I'm saying.

I stand up and shake hands when someone enters the room. Even if its a female. If im doing business with a female, i shake their hand like a man but dobt squeeze. Some dont expect it.
I remove my hat before i pray. In a church i wont wear a hat. I remove my hat at elders houses

My daddy wouldn't let you were a hat at his table. And I'll respect the wishes of anyone's table I sit at. But when I'm eating out I feel like those rules don't apply. I don't view it as bad manners, just because some one else has archaic rituals. If they don't like it, they're free to eat somewhere else. I do make exceptions for churches and old folks house's

I wore a cap every day of my life from the time I was 12 until until I started shaving my head. I was expected to take it off at the table, so I did. I would never have dared to wear one to church and when a kid comes to ours with one on, I ask him to take it off. Before any of you get hung up on that, I don't care if women wear slacks to church, nor do I care if a guy wears jeans, or if kids wear shorts, but if you're in the Lords house, you gonna show respect if I'm there.
I can't wear a hat anymore, they burn me up.

Footnote to this thread, I was in church this morning. Couple of pews up from me was a mom and dad and a young boy (11 to 13) wearing a hat, sort of a thuggish style. Parents did not say a word as he fiddled with his phone the whole service. Halfway through the service he turned his hat backwards. Bless his little heart. And his skull full of mush.

Not just a handshake but a look them in eye firm handshake. I hate to shake hands with someone that doesn't look me in the eye or has one of those limp handshakes that make you want to either crush their hand or wipe yours down with hand sanitizer. Yup, annoys the hell outta me. I usually make guys like that wince just a little.
