Let's hear some things to do up there. Family friendly.

Thanks in advance

Looks like it's pretty much a blue hair hangout.

We went last fall and, honestly, we didn't find that much to do in Branson. Admittedly, we went to see the fall foliage and are not really into shows. Still, thought we might see at least one while we were there but didn't find a show that interested us and didn't see a single one. We started to go to Silver Dollar City, but the tickets were almost $100 per person. We did enjoy Top of the Rock. Spent a morning eating and walking through the old shops in downtown Branson. Enjoyed spending a day in Eureka Springs, Arkansas and could have spent more time there. While in northern Arkansas we saw Christ of the Ozarks and spent sometime at Wilson Combat. One day we did a road trip to view the leaves and drove through the Ozark National Forest. Dipped our feet in the Buffalo National River.

Sig Sauer, to hell and back reliable.

Whatever suits you just tickles me plum to death.

Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?

Yeah, they bus them in by the thousands. A lot of the shows started at 10am and most dinner shows were around 4 or 5pm.

If you have kids silver dollar city amusement park.
The Eagles cover band is pretty good
Bass Pro Shop in Springfield Mo. Is pretty cool. It has some cool stuff in it. I believe they opened a new wing like an aquarium or something like that.
The rib crib is good food
A lot of different shows to see.

Pretty nice down at the River Walk. Take a ride in a Duck on Table Rock Lake. Could ride up Springfield to the Bass Pro headquarters. The non-typical word record white tail is there along with a bunch of monster B and Cs. And they aren't replicas.

There's a very good baseball camp out there my son went to one summer, me and the Mrs. stayed in Branson while he was there. Not a lot to do for young or middle aged folks.

"Why do you ask"?

Too many people spend money they don't have , on things they don't need, to impress people they don't know.

I was there for a week once and it was the longest year of my life.

Great place if you're 74 years old and love buffets, musicians who were popular 50 years ago and traffic jams at 4 o'clock going to dinner.

I worked all around Branson in the spring/summers of the early to mid 80s. My everlasting memory from Branson was the horrible traffic on the strip. We'd have to go south to 86 and then west to get to our work sites that were a lot closer via the strip.

Go to Gatlinburg instead. It is closer, has the same things but driving is easier, believe it or not, on the peak days. Silver Dollar City and Dollywood are owned by the same corporation and run a lot alike, except Dollywood is bigger and better. Plus, there are The Smoky's outside G'Burg. Unless you have a boat, there is nothing like this in Branson.

I’ll be posting a list of stuff to do in God’s country after I eat my lunch.

Bass Pro’s Big Cedar Resort should be a part of your Itinerary and a drive down to the Buffalo River Area around Ponca Arkansas, a coca-cola at Lost Valley Canoe and a sandwhich in Jasper.

Plenty of Elk herds and good river fun!

As far as Branson goes, you gotta figure out your own thing, its just not outdoorsy, its like Vegas with no gambling. But there are Casinos in the “Nations”
