The hat thing I understand. Never would wear one at the table unless I’m at a fast food place or somewhere it’s acceptable like a sports bar before a game or something.
The flying thing not so much. If I’m gonna be on a cramped plane then I’m wearing something comfortable. Either jeans, khaki shorts, or like when we went to Hawaii, gym shorts. If it was a business trip then it would depend on if I had a chance to change prior to being in front of customers or my higher ups.
