Whippings past like 12-14 yr old don't do a lick of good (pun not intended). At that age everyone in the world can tell if you did a poor job of raising your youngins, and we know good and well you're just beating because you're pissed you sucked as a parent.

I have personally watched kids with absolutely too quality parents take a wrong turn in a very short time
Because they get with the wrong boy or girl usually
I’ve also seen first class kids with some of the worst parents in the world, I went to live with my grandparents at 10 because I didn’t think my parents were on the right track.
I know a few people that turned out way better or worse than their parents raised them.
Of all my kids I’ve never had to get aggressive with but 1, none of them have ever been really disrespectful other than normal kid mouth or ever been in trouble. I think with a few it’s because they know it would disappoint us a few just because they are pretty sure I’d kill them and with 1 I think it’s just because he thinks it would be a waste of his time to bother with us. All raised the same way but people are different
