There ain't a framing contractor in the US of A that uses 32nds. If they say they do it's only to be polite while your son is there. I guarantee you on a job site the measurements won't be called out to the saw guy as 106 & 15/32, it will be 106 & 7/16 and cut it a C**t hair long. That's standard lingo around every single framing crew I've ever been around.
