I’d assume the NFL likely has a comparable list of substances but they have the resources to test for them. The random screens given when I played football were basically like a pre-employment screening (drug urine test). I played at a small school but the larger universities likely could put their athletes on a supplemental regimen that would qualify as PED’s if the NCAA tested them for it. However you don’t hear of any players failing a test for those, just the illegal substances.


I'd be willing to bet there is a BIG difference between the NCAA testing and what the NFL player's association tolerates.
