I took my bow to the local archery shop to get a loop installed. He showed me the bowjax string silencers and told me that they were alot better than what I had, so I let him go ahead and install them. I originally had the (I don't know what they are called) whisker type on it. When I got it home it seems like it shoots faster but is louder and more vibration in the handle. I guess my question is have any of you tried the bowjax? I didn't think it would make that much difference. I should have took it to Bennetts, where I bought it at and had them install the loop.

put a STS on and you won't need anything on the string..

Thanks, I shot a bow at bass pro a couple of weeks ago that had this type of suppressor on it. It was nice, but I didn't know they made one to mount on the stabilizer!!!

I put a STS on my bow last year and still can't believe the difference!!!!

I had bowjax on mine, after one tore up, i took them off and put the whiskers on it and it was a huge difference it was alot quieter than the bowjax.

What Bow do you have?
