You pit bull lovers are entitled to your opinion and I’m entitled to mine. I would NEVER have a pitbull around my children period. I don’t care if yours would hold a baby bird in its mouth and be friends with kittens.

I feel the same way. I wouldn't trust one around my child and I sure wouldn't want one if I lived in a residential area where it might come in contact with other peoples kids. I have been a RN for 21 years. The majority of dog bite cases I have personal knowledge of involved a pit bull. "ALL" of the really serious maulings I have cared for in the ER involved a pit bull.
