Last I checked the kids going into the NFL this year didn't do squat to deserve hate. Further, the majority of the players are good people. I cannot label them all thugs or call them unpatriotic because of the few jackasses that act stupid. I wouldn't want to be held responsible or labeled for what someone else does. Nor would you.
With that said, I didn't watch a single game last year. I was protesting the LEAGUE and the leagues LEADERSHIP for allowing the handful of jackasses to stain the integrity of the entire sport. I don't need politics in my sports. Until the leadership does the right thing I will continue to not watch. That's unfortunate for the good guys who've worked their entire lives to get to the pinnacle of their sport. They did nothing wrong and ultimately they will suffer for it.
Kinda hard for me to believe so many of our members can't distinguish the difference. But most of the members here have a WHOLE LOT of hate in their hearts and are never afraid to show it. To each his own. I don't just those who watch negatively. I don't judge those who protest the league negatively. I couldn't give a warm piss about the jackass players who caused all this or the leadership that let it happen.
