Very few players ever kneeled during the anthem. By the end of the season there were none doing it. Last night before the draft they had a moment of silence for the police officer that was killed in Dallas this week (the draft was in Dallas) and everyone there stood for the anthem.
The NFL never enforced kneeling. The players have that right if they want. Just like people that disagree with it have the right to not watch. That is what soldiers died for, not just for your view of the world.
I don’t think you will see anyone kneeling this year. I don’t watch a ton of NFL, but I do watch it some. I enjoy watching football no matter what level.
and 0 of the 32 guys drafted last night had anything to do with any of the national anthem/kneeling thing.
what are they supposed to do? refuse to get drafted in protest of the league?
