Anyone watching? Roger Goodell gets booed EVERY time he walks on the stage.

That guy gets booed so much and keeps going and collecting the check. The only problem is that NFL viewership is down, he is losing lawsuits, and makes stupid public opinion moves...but the guys in charge won't fire him. He must have something in his personal safe on them.

NFL football is better than no football at all. The season last longer than college and it gets you over those rainy cold cold days in Winter. Plus those guys are playing for a paycheck, they already got the women stuff before they became pro.

NFL football is better than no football at all. No, it's not. If football dropped off the face of the planet tomorrow, I wouldn't even notice, except when I heard all the whining from guys who enjoy watching 300 lb other guys repeatedly slam their sweaty bodies together. I'll stick with porn!

Ok, I changed my mind. I will take DoA's side. The NFL really sucks. I should spend more time with my kids outside.

If I could go back in time I wouldn't even bother with football as a kid and teen. Its gotten ridiculous what they expect out of high School kids.

Think of all the blown elbows and knees, broken fingers, forearms, and collarbones...I can't imagine why any parent who claims to care would even let their kids play football!

Glad to know you guys are patriots. I notice the ones watching didn't serve anything but themselves. Just sayin, what do you stand for?

I just stated the obvious about who was watching. Are you saying you aren't a patriot? Or are you more concerned with a bunch of spoiled millionaires?

Perch - that is a pretty broad brush you are painting with.
Am I a patriot? I didn't sit behind a keyboard and decide to defend only those people or subjects that I believed was right. I chose instead to defend people's rights to do what I didn't agree with, because it was their right to do so and my duty as a member of the US Armed Forces to defend their rights. So, I'll let you be the judge.
As for the spoiled millionaires - they don't affect my life one-way or another. I neither endorse them, nor do I condemn them - they are like many people; they believe their opinion matters, but at the end of the day they are just a talking head that has little or no affect on my life. I made a conscience choice a long time ago, that unless someone is paying rent for space in my head, I don't let those things consume me since I can't change or affect the outcome. If I boycotted every entity that did something I disagreed with, life would be a lot more boring.

During the time I served the public in general only showed disrespect for our guys in uniform. Our Country seems to have turned back in that direction. I have no respect for those guys, most have never had a real job, only played a game. Respecting those that have serve and do serve is important. Without a Military and the working class those jerks wouldn't be able to make millions. I find it hard to think they have suffered. Most can't keep their crap straight and are constantly in trouble, whether it be breaking the law or beating their wives or girlfriends. I don't think I'd want my kid to look up to that and make a bunch of hoods role models. I love football, but I like College ball, not the NFL type. They died when they chose not to stand for our Country. Too many men have died for our Flag and dammit they deserve respect! They earned it!

I figure those still watching NFL are kinda like local politicians still running as democrats. They ain't getting my vote cause they've had ample time to leave that communist party. Still calling yourself a Democrat tells me you obviously support that platform. Still watching the NFL tells me that you obviously squat to pee and listen to the national anthem.
I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.

Very few players ever kneeled during the anthem. By the end of the season there were none doing it. Last night before the draft they had a moment of silence for the police officer that was killed in Dallas this week (the draft was in Dallas) and everyone there stood for the anthem.
The NFL never enforced kneeling. The players have that right if they want. Just like people that disagree with it have the right to not watch. That is what soldiers died for, not just for your view of the world.
I don’t think you will see anyone kneeling this year. I don’t watch a ton of NFL, but I do watch it some. I enjoy watching football no matter what level.
