the Feds threatened to cut off funds if the states didn't pass seat belt laws.
MmmHmmm. And the sanctuary cities and states say the feds can't cut their funds for not cooperating with ICE.
The seat belt law is not the only thing they did this on. The legal drinking age in Alabama was raised from 19 to 21 under a threat to cut off federal money if it wasn't passed.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
