The state is who ruined the deer population. Why should we trust them with GC and great benefits they promise?
The state ruined the population? Damn folks, the state said you CAN shoot a doe a day, it didn't say HAVE to shoot a doe a day.
yes, but the state also said we have way too many does and YOU CAN'T SHOOT TOO MANY DOES. The state sold the hell out of that idea and a lot of folks bought into it. I did somewhat in the start.

Yes, the state screwed up. But in their defense, if coyotes were taken out of the equation, where would be now? Did they consider predators? Did they have any idea we where going to be put in a predator situation like none have seen in our lives here? Without coyotes, could we shoot too many does? I don't know the answers but I know the results. Yes, they screwed up but I don't really fault them. They were blindsided by coyote and not knowing them. Their major screw up was/is their slow response time. Hunters in certain areas ones long ago there is a problem.
