We were trying purebred Beefmasters. I picked out a nice young steer and when he got to be about 700 pounds I put him in a pen and poured the feed to him and finally butchered him at about 1200 pounds. I kept up with expenses and although it was good beef, I could have gone to Winn Dixie and got the choice meat cheaper in the long run. But not nearly as good.
I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.
